Kent State Student Media Website
This project encompassed the design and development of a website for Kent State Student Media in a content management system (CMS). This site hosts all student media outlets from the university as well as provides information for students to get involved and for advertisers to learn how they can take advantage of advertising within these media outlets. Three teams were established to complete this project and consisted of the design/front-end team, the UX team, and the CMS/back-end team. All teams worked together cohesively in order to complete tasks and create a successful end product for our client. I was a member of the design/front-end team where my personal responsibilities included designing layouts and mockups for the website, developing style tiles and navigation elements, assisting with user experience and navigation research, and working with all project members to ensure the accurate implementation of design elements across the website.
